Postdoc Position: Sleep and Circadian-Driven Nuclear Multi-Omics Dynamics

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented postdoc to join the Robles group, Systems Chronobiology, at the LMU Munich, Germany. We have an open position funded by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Neurodegeneration Challenge Network (NCDN) within a collaborative project together with Angel Barco’s laboratory (Neuroscience Institute, Alicante, Spain). The overarching aim of the project is to characterize circadian and sleep-driven nuclear multi-omics dynamics in diverse mouse brain cells using high-end RNAseq and proteomics technology.
The Robles group employs a wide range of mass spectrometry-based quantitative proteomics methods to study, in health and diseases, circadian and sleep-driven molecular mechanisms (click here to learn more about the group).

We seek a motivated, enthusiastic, and talented postdoctoral researcher with the following qualifications:
• Recent doctoral degree (biochemistry, bioinformatics or similar).
• Experience with high-throughput quantitative proteomics and DIA methods; subcellular proteomics background is a plus.
• Expertise operating nanoLC-HPLC and Thermo Orbitrap instruments.
• Ability to perform large scale multi-omics data analysis and programming skills (such as R, Python).
• Excellent written and oral communications skills in English, proficiency in German is a plus.
• Able to work independently, interact with a multicultural team and collaborators and capable to mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
